Stunning deep red-purple flowers in compressed spherical shaped umbels bloom in late spring and early summer, Allium Atropurpureum are a striking feature for the garden. The strap shaped leaves taper at the tip and will wither before the flowers appear in early summer so we recommend accompanying them with low-growing plants to provide filling foliage over the base areas.
