A strong hardy Wallflower that produces clusters of Primrose yellow flowers that are born in clusters on long stems that rise out of the typically spiky foliage of these plants. The flowers turn a softer yellow with age and have the bonus of being fragrant.
Wallflowers’ ‘Primrose’ is usually treated as an annual bedding plant, but it will live on if left in place and may even self-seed. It likes full sun and tolerates most soils except ones that waterlog on a regular basis. It grows happily in all aspects and is very tolerant of the cold, be it frosts or chilly winds.
